SERVICES
Our primary practice areas are estate planning, estate and trust administration, real estate and business law.
ESTATE PLANNING
We assist in preparing wills, revocable trusts (including joint trusts and Florida Community Property Trusts), irrevocable trusts (such as life insurance trusts, charitable trusts, dynasty trusts, and land trusts), deeds to trusts, ladybird deeds, beneficiary designations, living wills, healthcare surrogate designations, and powers of attorney. These essential documents facilitate the efficient transfer of assets to your chosen beneficiaries, protect assets from creditors and ex-spouses, minimize income and estate taxes, and allow you to designate trusted individuals to act on your behalf in case of incapacity.
PROBATE, ESTATE & TRUST ADMINISTRATION
In the administration of estates and trusts, we work with you to:
- Identify, preserve and liquidate the decedent’s assets;
- Prepare and file probate pleadings (when necessary);
- Communicate with beneficiaries; and
- Coordinate with your financial advisors and tax professionals.
REAL ESTATE
We represent clients in residential and commercial real property transactions including purchase/sales, leases, easements, seller finance, preconstruction contracts and satisfying title insurance requirements (including issues with open permits, code violations, probate, special assessments, and foreclosure proceedings).
BUSINESS LAW
As counsel for closely held businesses and non-profit organizations, we prepare and negotiate a wide range of contracts and other documents relating to entity formation, operating agreements, buy-sell agreements, corporate governance, master service agreements, distribution and licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, finance, corporate resolutions, vendor agreements and Corporate Transparency Act Disclosures.
